TV gardener David Domoney is to give two presentations at Stewarts Garden Centre in Christchurch on Friday 13th March based on his 40 years’ experience in Horticulture.
The first will be on unusual gardening techniques with some fun explanations on how to water your garden with a broom, feed plants using bananas and brillo pads, keep your plants healthy with washing up liquid, vinegar and vodka, and how to stop slugs in their tracks without so much as looking at a tub of slug pellets.
This will be followed by second talk on how to to fully explore the garden through sensory interaction. David will make recommendations how to create a haven for the senses with plants and features that captivate your five senses: smell, taste, sight, sound, and touch. It lets everyone fully appreciate the magic of nature.
The 30-minute sessions from the ITV1’s Love Your Garden show presenter will be held between 11.30 and 1.30pm. Tickets are just £1 each and include a cup of tea or filter coffee as well as a notebook for jotting down any useful tips from the expert. Proceeds go to Stewarts Charity of the Year, Dorset Mind.
Tickets are available in-store or online.
