Questions to Consider

During your first meeting with your designer you will be asked some specific and important questions:

  • How do you intend to use your garden?
  • What particular features would you like incorporated in the new garden design?
  • What works well in your current garden and what do you find frustrating?
  • What budget do you have available to spend on achieving the finished project?

You should consider the above points carefully prior to the first meeting so that the garden designer can produce a meaningful and fully thought out garden design that matches all your requirements as this will help create a beautiful garden that will give pleasure and practicality for years to come.

Your designer will arrive with a portfolio/books providing you with ideas and inspiration. You are more than welcome to collect any pictures to show the designer if you have something specific in mind. The designer will talk these through with you.
