Cook - Country Garden Centre (Wimborne)
We are becoming increasingly proud of the food we offer here at Stewarts. With our improved preparation facilities we are able to prepare fresh, locally sourced produce to make good food for our visitors. Not surprisingly we are becoming increasingly busy.
We are on the look out for someone who loves their food and would like to help us produce outstanding quality for our customers. You do not have to be catering trained but you must have a passion for cooking.
Relevant Health & Hygiene training would be a distinct advantage but we are willing to put the right candidate through the right training to obtain the relevant qualifications.
Passion matters to us more than experience!
The job involves working the following days/hours: Monday to Friday and alternate weekends with a day off in the week. 40 hours average per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No split shifts!
Part-time Cook - Country Garden Centre (Wimborne)

Santa & His Helpers - Country Garden Centre (Wimborne)
We have lost Santa! Can you help us find him? He is needed at Stewarts in Wimborne to help us distribute presents to all the children visiting our grotto. Needless to say he is a very special person who enjoys entertaining children, but who also has a good deal of patience! If you have seen somone out there with those qualities, then that is certainly him! He might be disguised in order to avoid drawing attention to himself.
We know it is a very busy time of the year for him so hours are to be agreed, but we would really like him to arrive at Stewarts on the 29th November as we are having a welcome party for him with all the children and their families. If he wants to bring one of his brothers to share the workload that is fine and also if he has any little helpers with spare time we could do with their help too!!
If you have seen either Santa or his helpers around, please let them know we are looking for them and ask them to contact us before the 17th October!! We want to get hold of them before they go crazy delivering presents elsewhere.
Weekend Coffee Shop Assistants - Country Garden Centre (Wimborne)
We are always on the look out for warm outgoing people to join the team here in our Coffee Shop. We aim to provide an outstanding experience for our visitors and need people who can contribute to making their visit exceptional. We work hard to make working here pleasurable although we cannot deny that you are kept busy.
Duties will include counter service, operation of till, clearing tables, assisting with food preparation and various kitchen tasks.
Applicants should possess good communication, team working and customer service skills as well as having a good level of health and safety/hygiene knowledge. Previous catering experience in a similar environment would be an advantage but is not essential as full training can be provided.
The job involves working the following days/hours: Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
